About SBVC.us

SBVC.us (formally RichardsClass.com) was created with the express purpose of helping my students at San Bernardino Valley College navigate the many websites they must in order to be a successful student.

Unfortunately it is sometimes very difficult for new students to navigate and use the official Valley College web site. As someone who knows a little about web development, I can say that this difficulty is not the fault of the web developers at valleycollege.edu. It is very difficult to create and maintain a site of that scale.

Valleycollege.edu was created for students, faculty and administration. SBVC.us was created for the student, and the student alone. It is important to know that SBVC.us is not in any way affiliated with valleycollege.edu, or San Bernardino Valley College.

What SBVC.us offers:

  • A listing of free software that is safe, malware free and personally tested by myself. This software list includes more than just student software. There are over 50 titles that include titles from every software category available.
  • News that is important to a San Bernardino Valley College student.
  • A textbook search feature that will allow students to find the best price possible on textbooks.
  • Screen-cast tutorials on how to use the software and websites that students may be required to use, including Email and Blackboard
